The Women of The View Afraid to Let Ann Coulter Talk

Posted On 7:20 PM by Steve Stevlic |

#1 New York Times bestselling author Ann Coulter appeared on ABC's The View to talk about her new book "Guilty: Liberal 'Victims' and Their Assault on America". Well, at least she tried to talk about her new book. The women of The View were pretty determined not to giver her any chance to respond to their questions or comments. As with any episode of The View - this clip is hard to watch. You've been warned.

The book cites plenty of research done over the past 30-40 years regarding the social and economic results of the 300% increase in illegitimate children since 1970. In the book, Coulter makes interesting points about the relationship of single motherhood to child poverty, child abuse, domestic violence and crime. She got to make none of these points on the show, however.

Also, Joy Behar is completely obsessed with Sarah Palin. She's pathetic.

um this might sound really dumb, but what the heck was that song that you spliced at the end of the clip? I NEED THAT SONG!

and why does whoopi think she can say substanceless closures, like, "and thats the point" - something like that - or "you can dish it out but you can't take it" WITHOUT ever saying anything of substance beforehand? and of course the audience goes nuts whenever they hear a crack

You deserve a medal for getting to the end of that clip. I don't know how people can watch that show.

Anyway, the song at the end is "Shut Up and Let Me Go" by the Tings Tings. Shut up and Let Me Go just happens to be what I think about everytime I hear Joy Behar.

Who watches the View? What a crap show. Bunch of loudmouthed vapid opinionated unattractive gals. I'm a woman who works so I never watch daytime TV. But I can see that the IQ of the panel doubled when Ann was on.

Re: Whoopi's attack on Anne for her comments about single mothers - we have one kid in my child's class who's a real shit disturber and bully. He comes from a fatherless family. Coincidence? I doubt it.

The point is Anne is perfectly correct in her comments and kids need two parents more than ever these days. Not that it gaurantees no trouble but promoting single motherhood as a great thing like Whoopi and her feminist friends do isn't productive.
